The upgraded model retains the original 12V DC power connection and thermoelectric temperature-control system while introducing refinements focused on cooling performance and everyday usability.

GripVolt has also introduced a wider LED touch-control panel, making the temperature display easier to see and the touch controls easier to operate.

Another addition is a silicone insulated lid, which helps reduce heat exchange with the surrounding environment during cooling or heating. The updated product also includes a straw that extends toward the bottom of the cup, allowing users to draw liquid from lower in the container as cooling takes place.

The cup holder continues to come with a custom aluminum cup. Its aluminum construction is designed to provide efficient contact with the temperature-controlled surface, helping transfer cooling or heating more effectively to the beverage inside. Users can also place compatible beverage containers directly into the holder, including cans, water bottles, coffee cups and stainless steel tumblers with a diameter of approximately 70 mm or less.

The cooler features an adjustable temperature range of 2°C to 25°C (36°F to 77°F) and a digital temperature display for monitoring the selected temperature. Its cylindrical design provides a compact format for users who need temperature-controlled storage while commuting, traveling, working or spending time away from home.

The cooler uses USB-C power and operates with an external 5V/2A power source rather than a built-in rechargeable battery. Compatible power sources can include vehicle USB chargers, power banks, computers and suitable wall chargers.

Three cooling modes — Quiet, Balanced and Max Cooling— allow users to select different operating levels. Quiet Mode prioritizes reduced operating noise, Balanced Mode provides a combination of cooling performance and noise control, while Max Cooling provides stronger cooling performance when faster temperature reduction is needed.

The cooler is available in two cylindrical configurations and three colors — silver, black and green. The shorter model measures approximately 7.20 × 1.77 inches, while the longer model measures approximately 9.84 × 1.65 inches.

Its compact form allows the cooler to be carried in a bag or placed in a compatible vehicle cup holder, making it suitable for everyday situations including commuting, road trips, business travel, office use and hotel stays.

The cooler requires continuous connection to an external power source during operation. GripVolt recommends pre-cooling the unit for approximately 20–30 minutes before placing temperature-sensitive supplies inside.
